Our project delivery combines proven methodologies with modern technology. Discovery.
We begin by working with you and your team to understand your project objective. Our team can operate from an existing feasibility study or complete an initial investigation and present a business case. Once the solutions that our engineering team present are reviewed with you, our executive team will work with you to select the best option. This may involve us working with vendors to secure demonstration of products for your review.

Planning.
The planning stage is the key strength of LIV IT. Our project plans ensure that the tasks, dependencies, and timeframes of any project are well defined aligning favourably with the budget for the project. Whilst we abide by the ethos to always be prepared, our team is adept at thinking on its feet to work through unforeseen events in the field. This flexibility gives you the confidence that your project is always on-time and on-budget with LIV IT.

Execution.
We continuously monitor the progress of our project delivery, making adjustments as necessary to ensure we meet our time and budget expectations. Our expert project managers report progress through regular status updates. Their reports include updates on schedule and quality of deliverables. Once the project is complete we conduct a debrief for you before our support team comes in to guide the ongoing implementation.

Size really does not matter.
We have been delivering projects at LIV IT since 2003. Throughout our time, size is one thing that has never been a concern.
We strive to follow the same process for every project that we deliver. In our ethos, the difference between a small and large project is the scale – not the process.
This is why our focus is on the process, and why our experienced engineers can easily scale no matter the size.
Wireless web for a windfarm.
We were approached by a national windfarm service provider to solve their connectivity problem.
Located approximately 250 km (150 mi) west of Melbourne CBD, the windfarm office is located in a valley. The site is out of range of terrestrial Internet services and is out of line of site of the nearest 4G LTE mobile tower.
Our brief was to provide an Internet service that was reliable with sufficient bandwidth to allow connectivity of the site office to the rest of their network.
Our solution was to pick the 4G LTE signal at the strongest point, highest point on the windfarm and then beam it back to the site office, providing a reliable Internet connectivity with substantial bandwidth improvement.
Foundations for a foundry.
One of the southern hemisphere’s largest steel foundries was ready to expand its capacity and had acquired two smaller foundries in the process.
In order to manage the additional workload and to allow the expansion into international markets, the introduction of a new ERP application was required.
With few candidates suitable for use within their industry, our approach to this project was to have the chosen application not dominate the other processes already ingrained within a successful business.
We worked closely with the vendor and the stakeholders within the business to upgrade the existing IT infrastructure in meaningful ways that improved existing processes and delivered a relatively painless transition to a new way of working.
SharePoint build for construction.
We successfully migrated a growing construction company from a legacy file server environment to Microsoft SharePoint, enabling secure, modern collaboration across projects and teams.

Our process included restructuring and managing security groups to ensure the right users had access to the right information without complexity or risk. We also analysed and redesigned folder structures to reduce excessive file path lengths, improving usability and preventing sync and access issues.
The result was a more secure, efficient, and scalable document management platform that supports on-site and remote collaboration, reduces operational friction, and positions the business for continued growth.
Telephony for childcare centre.
We designed and deployed a custom LIV Phone solution for a multi-site childcare provider, replacing fragmented phone systems with a single, centralised platform.
The solution connected all centres under one unified system, enabling seamless call handling, simplified management, and consistent caller experiences for parents and staff. We implemented intelligent call routing to ensure enquiries were answered promptly, improved after-hours handling, and provided clear visibility across sites.
The result was a reliable, scalable telephony solution that reduced administrative overhead, improved responsiveness, and supported the childcare provider’s growth while maintaining the high level of care and communication families expect.
Video production studio.
An internationally recognised entrepreneur and motivational speaker was ready to extend his reach into the digital space with a vision that was ahead of his time.
Seeking to create a broadcast level studio for the creation of quality content, he turned to LIV IT to design a solution.
We worked with our vendors to design a bespoke digital background system that allowed for multiple streams of media to be displayed simultaneously.
The amazing amount of flexibility this allowed for in the delivered content has broadened the reach and impact of our clients’ work.
Securing a property firm.
Following a security breach, we were engaged to assess and fortify their Microsoft 365 environment.
Using a best-of-breed security toolset, we conducted a comprehensive review of identity, access, email security, and user behaviour to identify vulnerabilities and close risk gaps.
The engagement included tightening access controls, strengthening threat protection, improving visibility, and reinforcing security best practices across the tenant.
The result was a significantly more resilient Microsoft 365 environment, reduced risk of future compromise, and renewed confidence in the security of their systems allowing the business to continue operating securely .
